Thank you, thank you to the many dedicated individuals who coached sandlot baseball this summer, your efforts are appreciated and help make the North Division a stronger program as well as helping players from the WEST Division.  Let’s be proud that we had so many players playing ball this summer. Additionally, thank you to all those involved in Farm League for another successful season that involved new parents and younger players as well as for the first time having an extended Farm League experience in the Summer.
The 2021 North Cambridge Little League season continues and there are a few more important dates to put on your calendar.  They are:
  • ANNUAL BANQUET/PICNIC  – FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH AT 6 PM. This year we are again hosting an outdoor picnic with activities for players. The event is devoted to recognizing those who have helped us achieve another successful season. In addition to the first-place team from the regular season and the team winner of the play-off tournament receiving trophies, select players will receive trophies for sportsmanship and skill improvement. The outstanding volunteer of the year and fan of the year are also recognized, and our graduating 12-year-old players will be presented with a NCLBL sweatshirt (must be present to receive). All NCLBL players attending will receive food and beverages. Parents and guests will pay a small price for food and beverages.   We will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers. This year after the awards ceremony, we plan on showing a movie at the field. The rain date is Saturday, September 18th at 6 pm at Comeau Field.
  • BABE RUTH TRYOUTS — Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10 A.M., Sunday, September 12th at 12:00P.M. at St. Peter’s Field on Sherman Street, North Cambridge (between Danehy Park and Walden Street). Attention 12-year-old players! Players can tryout on any of these days.  This is their only chance since there is no spring tryout.
  • ALL STAR WEEKEND – The East Division will be hosting the City All-Star tournament involving the 4 divisions of the Cambridge Little Baseball League at Donnelly Field (Next to the King Open School). Games will be played on Saturday, September 11th, and 12th, 2021.  The game times are as follows:
            SATURDAY
           Game 1 — 10:00 A.M.               West Minor League vs. NORTH Minor League
           Game 2 — 12:00 noon              Central Minor Lge. vs.  East Minor Lge.
           Game 3 —   2:00 P.M.                West Major League vs. NORTH Major League
           Game 4 —   4:00 P.M                Central Major League vs. East Major League
            The winner from each game on Saturday will play on Sunday (9/19).  The minor league winners will play at 1:00 P.M.             and the major league winners will play at 3:30 P.M, There will be an awards ceremony after each game.  Please come               and support the North Division teams.
  • NORTH ASSESSMENT/REGISTRATION FOR THE 2022 SEASON — SATURDAY, September 18, 2021 at 4:00 PM. RAINDATE IS ON SUNDAY, September 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM. at Comeau Field, North Cambridge for minor league players trying out for the majors and for new players to the league.
